After the holidays, and a couple weeks of weekend snow, AWANA has finally resumed. Activities commence at 5:00pm Sundays in the activity building across the road from the church. We have the following classes available for young people: Puggles (2-3 y.o.), Cubbies (Pre-Schoolers), Sparks (K-2 grades), T&T (3-5 grades), Trek (Middle School), and Journey (High Schoolers). A small meal or snack is served. Bring a Bible if you have one, and all other materials are provided. We have a van for transportation if needed. Contact Steve Bavetz, our AWANA director for more information. The best part of all, our program is COMPLETELY FREE to participate! Books, one club t-shirt and food are all provided!
AWANA at Hazelwood Baptist Church is currently on hiatus for the holidays. Classes will resume in January 2019. We have classes for ages 2-18, including the new Trek class for middle schoolers. Our AWANA program meets at 5:00 most Sundays during the school year in the gray activity building across the street from church. Awana is a ministry that’s completely centered around memorizing God’s Word. Kids from age 2 all the way up to Seniors in high school gather on Sunday nights at 5pm for a time of Bible study, scripture memory, food, and of course some wild and wacky games. All are invited, so we hope to see you there!
Steve Bavetz is our Awana director. Please contact him at 317.626.6358 or email@example.com if you have any questions about this exciting ministry.
